BLACK FEMINISM
Designed a publication and poster series exploring Black feminism, representation, and women’s rights through bold typography, layered imagery, and expressive color. The project focuses on creating a visual language that feels powerful, emotional, and direct while honoring the strength and complexity of Black feminist thought. 강렬한 타이포그래피와 레이어드된 이미지, 표현적인 색감을 통해 블랙 페미니즘, 재현, 여성 인권을 탐구한 출판물과 포스터 시리즈를 디자인했습니다. 이 프로젝트는 블랙 페미니즘 사유가 가진 힘과 복합성을 존중하며, 강하고 감정적이면서도 직접적인 시각 언어를 구축하는 데 중점을 두었습니다.

The challenge was to communicate a complex topic in a visually engaging way while preserving its seriousness. I wanted the design to feel both personal and political, so I created a bold visual system using portrait photography, neon typography, textured imagery, and layered graphic shapes. The contrast between bright type and muted images creates tension, while the collage-like compositions reflect the layered experiences of Black women. The final series uses type, image, and color to present Black feminism as a powerful statement on representation, equality, and visibility.
복합적인 주제를 시각적으로 흥미롭게 전달하면서도 그 무게감을 유지하는 것이 이 프로젝트의 주요 과제였습니다. 개인적이면서도 정치적인 메시지가 느껴지도록, 인물 사진과 네온 타이포그래피, 질감이 더해진 이미지, 레이어드된 그래픽 요소를 활용해 강렬한 비주얼 시스템을 구성했습니다. 밝은 타이포그래피와 차분한 이미지의 대비는 시각적 긴장감을 만들고, 콜라주적인 구성은 흑인 여성들이 겪는 다층적인 경험을 반영합니다. 최종 시리즈는 타이포그래피, 이미지, 색을 통해 블랙 페미니즘을 재현, 평등, 가시성에 대한 강력한 디자인 메시지로 표현합니다.
